One Voice AS was founded in 2006 in response to the 2004 Asian Tsunami. Its ambition was to assist the Norwegian authorities when dealing with disasters and crises that had the potential to affect citizens and assets both at home and abroad. Since then, we have supported the Norwegian Government’s crisis support unit in a number of notable incidents including the bombing of Government premises in Oslo and the murders on the island of Utøya on 22 nd July 2011.
Since expanding our customer base to the public sector, we are proud to have helped improve Norway’s preparedness for incidents on land, sea and in the air. Our flagship product, CIM, enables organisations across a multitude of industries to take care of its values and reputation before, during and after an incident. Current customers include Total, Vanttenfall, easyJet, Thomas Cook, BP and multiple levels of government both in Scandinavia and further afield.
Our first international contract was signed in 2007 but it was several years before we secured another. As of 2017, CIM is used in over 100 countries and can boast in excess of 700 clients, something which is a testament to the flexible and truly scalable nature of the solution.
In 2015 we expanded onto the global market by partnering with Control Risks Group. We were selected as their preferred supplier of emergency support tools after they had completed ‘an extensive global search for a best in class system’. Together we have developed ‘Crisis Resilience Online (CRO) – Powered by CIM’ This product has been well received on the international market and has contributed to the continued growth of One Voice.
It was only natural that we looked to capitalise on this international reach and in 2017, One Voice’s international office was opened in London. The acquisition of AIControlPoint provided the team, resources and market presence to support the company’s international growth and the future looks bright for what started life as a small, entrepreneurial software company in Trondheim.
